SSC Result 2026: Jamalpur Achieves 87% Pass Rate, 1240 GPA-5

Students from Jamalpur district achieved an overall pass rate of 87.3% in the 2026 SSC examinations, with 1,240 students earning the coveted GPA-5 — an improvement from 1,087 in the previous year. Jamalpur Govt. Girls High School topped the district with 100% pass rate and 87 GPA-5 holders. Islampur Pilot High School followed with 98.5% pass rate. The district education officer attributed the improvement to the introduction of extra coaching classes, model tests, and stronger teacher monitoring programs initiated last year. "Our target is to reach 90% pass rate by 2027," said the District Education Officer. "We are especially focusing on mathematics and English, which have historically been weaker subjects."
